Mithuna Couple (after Ajanta mural)

Inspired by the depiction of a Mithuna (amorous couple) from the murals of the Ajanta Caves, India. Mithuna figures symbolize love, harmony, and the vitality of worldly life and often appear as auspicious motifs in Indian art. The graceful forms and intimate gesture reflect the refined aesthetic of the Ajanta mural tradition, Gupta–Vakataka period (5th–6th century CE).
